Plan Your Visit | Sunday Services at LWCC Basildon

You Are So Welcome

We would love for you to join us this Sunday. Here is everything you need to know before you come.

Every Sunday at 11am -- Honeypot Lane, Basildon SS14 2JZ

Doors open at 10:55am with some gentle music to welcome you in. The service begins at 11am and usually runs for around 90 minutes. Stay afterwards for teas, coffees, and biscuits -- some of the best conversations happen right there.

What to Expect

  • A warm welcome from our team at the door
  • Vibrant, Spirit-filled worship led by our worship team
  • A message from the Bible, currently working through the Gospel of John
  • Kingdom Kids (children's ministry) running at the same time for children
  • Teas, coffees, biscuits, and genuine friendship afterwards
  • No dress code. No prior knowledge required. Just come.

For Families

Children are genuinely welcome at LWCC. We have a dedicated parent-led creche and activity area in the church for younger children, and Kingdom Kids runs every Sunday for older children at the same time as the main service. Your children will be safe, loved, and having a great time.

The Tribe (our youth ministry) meets every Friday evening from 7pm to 9pm for young people aged 11 to 18.

FAQs

Q: Do I need to book in advance?

A: No booking needed at all. Just turn up. We would love to see you.

Q: What should I wear?

A: Absolutely anything you are comfortable in. We are a very informal community. You will see everything from suits to jeans on a Sunday morning.

Q: Will I be asked to do anything?

A: Not at all. Come, sit, listen, and take it all in. Nobody will put you on the spot or ask you to do anything you are not comfortable with.

Q: What about my children?

A: Children are so welcome! Kingdom Kids runs during the service for children, and there is a parent-led creche for younger ones. If your child would rather stay with you in the main service, that is completely fine too.

Q: Is there parking?

A: Yes, free parking is available on site at Honeypot Lane.

Q: I am not a Christian -- is it okay for me to come?

A: Absolutely, and we mean that. Many people who visit LWCC for the first time are exploring or simply curious. You are welcome exactly as you are. No pressure, no expectations.

Q: What time does the service finish?

A: The service usually finishes around 12:30pm, followed by teas and coffees. You are welcome to stay as long as you like.
