Youth (The Tribe)

As well as Sunday mornings, we meet weekly during term time. Friday 7pm-9pm at Living Word Community Church, Honeypot Lane, Basildon, SS14 2JZ.

We create a safe environment where young people (Age 11 to 18) can make new friends, be themselves and encourage each other. During our sessions we hold a mixture of activities such as team games, challenges and group discussions. We talk about the Christian faith and encourage young people to explore their own thoughts and ideas about faith, and what it means to them to have a relationship with God.

Occasionally, we hold special evenings such as game nights and film nights which are great fun. The highlight of our year is a camping week away, this is held in Norfolk with many other youth groups and their leaders.
